Challenging the status quo with unorthodox design.
Undergraduate recruiting is a tough job for any higher education program these days. We helped the college’s Art + Design Department persuade prospective students and their parents that its approach to design education leads to stunning careers. Students are instructed in learning—and then breaking—traditional design rules. This stunning recruitment mail piece unfolds to reveal the department’s dynamic approach. We presented their “Break the Rules” mantra in a unique format with arresting and colorful images that reflect this battle cry. Matthew McElligott was the stalwart Project Director and Copywriter; Tamara Hansen provided stunning principal photography with Jin Chan’s additional photos.
